These cartomisers are designed for using PG liquid; if you want use VG liquid you need to dilute the VG down by at least 10-20% vodka or deionised water (available from your local car spares store).
Initial filling tip:
First thing to do after filling a new Bud (and reinserting fill stem) is to take three or four sharpish draws without firing the atty.
This primes the wick and helps draw liquid down onto the coil. After taking these few unfired draws, leave the bud for a few minutes and then take a proper draw.
